Michael is a lawyer with over 10 years post admission experience representing plaintiffs in complex litigated workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, public liability and Comcare matters. Over the course of his career, he has acted for clients and instructed counsel on numerous successful arbitrations at Workcover, AAT Hearings and District Court trials and appeals. He is a fierce advocate for his clients.

His advocacy extends to his role as a committee member for the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA) in WA, and his involvement in WA4HRA, a special interest group advocating for the establishment of a Human Rights Act in WA.

He has a keen sense of social justice and has little patience for inadequate outcomes for those who have suffered losses due to something that has occurred through no fault of their own. His goal is to hold insurers accountable for the way in which they assess and litigate claims and to ensure that his clients rights are represented expediently and thoroughly.

His interests outside of work include travel, politics, music, film, football, AFL, and cricket. In a past life he was a promoter of events and ran a boutique record label based out of Perth. To his detriment, he is a Fremantle Dockers, Perth Glory, Oldham Athletic and Leeds United Fan. He tries to go on holiday and see as much as the world as he can when he can.
