A keen sense of fairness attracted me to a career in the law. I graduated from the University of Tasmanian with a combined Arts and Law degree in 2008 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2009.
The early years of my legal career were spent working for a national insurance law firm practicing in the areas of debt recovery and general insurance litigation with a focus on motor vehicle accidents. After a period working in politics for a federal member of parliament, I returned to the law practicing exclusively in personal injuries.
Over the last 7 years I have specialised in workers compensation and this experience has enabled me to obtain very favourable outcomes for my clients. I pride myself on my forensic approach to factual matters and the application of the law, and being a strong and supportive advocate for my clients.
Outside of work I enjoy playing various sports, renovation and design projects, cooking and spending time with my family and friends.
