I have a Law degree, graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2018. I completed my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2019. I am a member of the Law Society of Tasmania and Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA).
Prior to working at LHD Lawyers, I gained valuable experience at a National Insurance law firm, practicing primarily in workers compensation and motor vehicle accidents, with some additional experience in medical negligence and compliance. I believe that practicing as an insurance lawyer for a significant period of time and now representing injured plaintiffs sets me apart from other personal injury lawyers. I am able to approach cases uniquely, considering them from the perspective of both parties which fosters a comprehensive understanding of each matter and the formation of effective claim strategies. This knowledge, working collaboratively with clients to build a supportive and trusting relationship, we well as utilising and understanding the legal and statutory systems available, creates a strong foundation for achieving the best results for individuals in vulnerable and stressful situations, and achieving those results in an efficient manner.
Outside of my professional career, I enjoy going to the gym regularly, eating delicious food and spending time with my family, especially with our beautiful border collie, Oat. I also own an active and athleisurewear business.
